When some dude complains that feminists should shut up because women somewhere else have it worse:
the next time someone tells you that women elsewhere have it worse, say “You’re right. You’re absolutely right. Now what have you done about it?”
When they sit there in stunned silence, look them straight in the eyes and tell them “I can’t fight every battle. I can only fight the ones where I stand on the front line. You on the other hand, have chosen not to fight at all.”
Honestly, I love when people (usually disgruntled, privileged male WASPs who think that the issues no longer matter because “women can work and blacks aren’t slaves anymore and wut is trans it’s not even a real thing OwO”) also whip out the accusation that you’re a SJW, because you support feminist, trans and black causes.
You’re goddamn right I’m a social justice warrior. I believe in justice for everyone across the social spectrum, and I’m willing to fight for it. Try harder at coming up with a real insult, lazy hacks that have nothing better to do with their lives than judge people who are at least trying to make things better than they’ve been.
