Not all opinions are created equal
If your opinion is that naziism isn’t about genocide but is about socialism, I’m telling you you’re wrong and moving on. I’m not debating this. You’re wrong. You’re so unfathomably wrong. There is no debate. “It’s my opinion!” Yup…and it’s wrong. End of story.
If your opinion is that sex is a biological need and lack of it causes physical health problems, again I’m telling you you’re wrong and moving on. No debate. Your opinion means fucking nothing coz it’s based outside reality.
Can we stop placing opinions on some kind of pedestal where they have to be respected at all times?
“Oh so I’m not allowed to have a different opinion?”
You sure are! And it’s still wrong. And when it’s so clearly, abjectly wrong the only resorct it deserves is me pointing that out and then getting on with my day.
I’ll talk about subjective opinions all day long. What are the moral and legal implications of free speech Vs. hate speech. Let’s do it. But “naziism isn’t about genocide” isn’t a subjective opinion. It’s a lie.
