Les Amis de l’ABC at the Musain WTF WHAT THE HELL IS THIS EVEN

Three things are responsible for this monstrosity:

  • @gavrockandroll‘s post, “

tbh one of the more subtly chaotic fandoms was les mis, because modern aus became so common they stopped being labelled all the time because it was just Assumed it’d be a modern au. but there were still original time period works scattered in so you’d have a fucking schrodinger’s cat situation where everyone is both in 1800’s and the current day until someone whips out a cell phone”

  • to which @pilferingapples replied, “

if it’s not tagged I’m just assuming everyone’s chillin’ at the Starbucks in waistcoats and leg-of-mutton sleeves”, and

  • that series of art posts of various people’s Grantaires dressed as George Blagden (in that awful patterned shirt – you know very well which one). If anyone knows/remembers who the OP was, please tag!

Only of course Far doesn’t know quite where to stop. LOL. I wash my hands of all responsibility. Interpret it as you will. 😉

[And if you’re thinking that I’ve surely put actual content on that laptop, …. you’d be right…]

[I also made a terrible error somewhere in this picture. Not gonna fix it. Have a good laugh on me when you find it. Ain’t the first time it’s happened; and it certainly won’t be the last!]

EDIT: @ratheralark has informed me that they’re the OP for the Blagtaire thing. Cheers!

THIS
EXACTLY THIS
THIS IS HOW I PICTURE ANY ERA-AMBIGUOUS AU,IT’S PERFECT

–I can’t believe you’re STILL managing to mock/homage that One Illustration but you totally are

-is Grantaire’s phone showing an Enjolras in Modern Clothing (presumably walking through the 1830s?XD)

– the waistcoats and all the clothing are AMAZING, the details of the fabric are all so good!

–…did you have articles in mind for l’oignon, there, or–?
