“don’t vote for the democrats! they’re just republicans in disguise!” is an Accelerationist Fake #Woke sentiment that helps no one except the republicans. it’s far more useful and accurate to say “vote democrats in as damage limitation but don’t put your faith in them to fix everything, they will at best just maintain the status quo without making things MUCH worse (and possibly make a few token improvements if we push them hard enough), so we have to also organise and  move things in a better direction ourselves”

accelerationist ideology is only good if you disregard the lives of all the vulnerable and marginalised people who will die as a result of things continuing to get worse while you smugly wait for the Glorious Revolution to come round
