Bonjour mes amis! With a self-proclaimed nationalist as a president, and a republican majority in our senate, it’s imperative to the future of our country that everyone who can vote does so. If this is your first election, or if you’ve simply never voted before, I’ve included some useful resources below:
This YouTube channel has an instructional video on how to register to vote in every state. A number of states have already passed their deadlines, especially for absentee voters, but not all of them, so if you can still register to vote, please do.
This website has information on ID requirements by state.
Also, remember that you can ask for a provisional ballot, and it’s a legal requirement that you be given one. Rock The Vote’s website also allows you to check voting rights by state. Knowing your rights is important, especially in states where voter suppression runs rife.
