To everyone who has been told that they do not deserve to be happy, that they do not deserve to be loved, that they do not deserve to have peace:
You do. They are wrong, and they are hateful. You may be imperfect but your way of loving and living and learning is beautiful.
You will find that joy, whether it be in a wonderful relationship or by yourself in a place you love or a community of those who understand you or a finished project you are proud to show the world or the multitude of other ways to be you.
There may be those who hate you and exclude you from places you should find respite, but you deserve happiness. You deserve the world.
