i know that this might look cute and all, but its really not. this is called “head pressing“ and its symptom of serious brain issues such as brain tumors, brain damage, various disease that affect on brain etc. if you ever see cat doing this, it should be taken to a vet asap

this is not head pressing. head pressing is when a cat stands headfirst typically against a corner or wall without moving for extended periods of time. what’s pictured here is a completely normal cat behavior that shouldn’t cause any concern.

here’s an article that talks more about this and shows pictures comparing actual head pressing to when a cat just sleeps face down (which is normal)

To everyone who has been told that they do not deserve to be happy, that they do not deserve to be loved, that they do not deserve to have peace:

You do. They are wrong, and they are hateful. You may be imperfect but your way of loving and living and learning is beautiful.

You will find that joy, whether it be in a wonderful relationship or by yourself in a place you love or a community of those who understand you or a finished project you are proud to show the world or the multitude of other ways to be you.

There may be those who hate you and exclude you from places you should find respite, but you deserve happiness. You deserve the world.

A box of junk on my balcony

Pigeons:

Update:

Apparently they went furniture shopping, too, since the family is getting bigger.

Update:

I’ve named them Leia and Luke:

They’re ugly and cute at the same time:

Messy little critters:

They’ve entered their rebellious phase:

Just when I thought Luke and Leia grew up and I can finally clean the balcony, lo and behold, another pair of twins.
