My grandmother is in need of some help.. I’ve seen people ask for help here on tumblr and get tremendous results so I figured my grandmother was definitely worth trying. Here is a little information on why my family has come to ask for help from total strangers..

She has developed a plague in her heart and needs surgery to put a shunt in one of her heart valves.. because of this surgery she has to quit her job, one of her only sources of income. And unfortunately my illness prevents me from working so due to my mother taking me and my 3 kids in for the past 10+ years she has nothing to fall back on. Why the FUCK DOESN’T THIS HAVE MORE NOTES COME ON GUYS
Yesterday I collapsed at work. My manager called 911 and when the paramedics arrived my heart rate was in the 150s. I was taken to the hospital and found to have a bladder infection as well as strep throat. Since I’m immunodeficient my body can’t handle two infections at once and went into overdrive trying to fight it with a high fever and my heart was being worked too hard.
Today I tried going into work and they told me they’ll remove me from this class and try to put me into the class starting on the 26th. This means I’ll miss an entire pay period. $900 I needed for bills this month and December rent. If anybody can donate even $1 to me it’ll help more than I can express. Please feel free to share. i’m with the whole “dont force ur children to adhere to gender rules” but please …. let them if they want to …. my whole perception of femininity was warped because my parents pushed me to literally be “not like other girls” & “alternative” but as soon as i embraced pink things and dresses & stuff i felt really good about myself
i cant tell u how upset i was when we had a medieval day at school & i wanted to be a princess but my parents were like “nah all the other girls would do that u should be a knight” & i felt super bad compared to the others ugh
also like ?? as soon as i started liking “girly” things i discovered i was non-binary & stuff, so for me it’s not so much of a “kids should like things of the stereotypically opposite gender” as it is “let kids like what they like regardless of their gender but dont force them to like things of the stereotypically opposite gender”
