Let’s talk about cars. I don’t know anything about cars, and that’s a good thing. If somebody came over to talk about cars, I would turn into a river, sink into the gutter, and finally die.
The reason why sci-fi usually cannot hold a candle to fantasy is they often forget to include swords in science fiction stories. The best science fiction is the ones where they remember that they need to include swords for me to be able to pay attention.
