In Black Panther, we see women going about their business and supporting each other. They argue with each other and have different points of view, but they are not pitted against each other and I think that’s extremely important. In doing this, audiences can get a sense of the fabric of Wakanda as a nation, where we see women alongside men and we see how much more effective a society can be if they allow women to explore their full potential. — Lupita Nyong’o
i really hope that dc announcing that wonder woman is bisexual sets off a string of dc and marvel announcing that all their superheroes are gay to try and one-up each other. like, tomorrow we wake up to find that marvel has admitted that captain america has been bi all along. then dc counters by making batman gay. next thing you know black widow is canonically ace. and no one stops until all their superheroes are somewhere on the lgbt+ spectrum
i haven’t seen venom yet and i have a very vague idea about what is actually happening in the movie but from all the posts i saw i imagine it going something like this: venom meets eddie, venom realizes he’s gay, they start dating and they make out a lot. the main conflict is eddie buying two bagels when venom asks for the souls of the innocent
