  • eventually she resigns herself to the fact that he isn’t coming
  • she tries not to feel disappointed but she knows she’s only kidding herself
  • she’s confused and hurt 
  • so she goes out to find him
  • she’s not quite sure what she wants to say to him but she wants answers
  • and it’s as she’s making her way down the street that she sees them carting the bodies away
