“Buddy, you’re a young man, hard man
Shouting in the street, gonna take on the world someday
You got blood on your face, you big disgrace
Waving your banner all over the place”

Y’all big mad in the notes

Actually every song by Queen is a lgbt anthem

Don’t Stop Me Now is the bisexual anthem to end all bisexual anthems and you will not change my mind

Heteros are really pressed in the notes keep reblogging this

Why are they booing this post, it’s right

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy–gay men’s anthem

Don’t Stop Me Now/Bicycle Race–pan/bi anthems

You’re My Best Friend–lesbian anthem

Mother Love–aro/ace anthem

Killer Queen–trans ladies’ anthem

Princes of the Universe–trans lads’ anthem

I’m Going Slightly Mad–nonbinary/genderfluid anthem

I Want To Break Free–everyone’s coming out anthem

it got better

how can one think any second that Queen is not 100% LGBT+ when they literally dressed like this in the I Want To Break Free clip

What she says: I’m fine.

What she means: There are two lions in renowned 70′s glam rock band Queen’s crest. The two lions are wearing a king and queen crown, respectively. The king lion is also wrapped in chains. Freddie Mercury designed the crest so that the four band members are symbolized by the symbols of their zodiac. Roger and John are the lions because they are the two leos. The lions are a king and queen. The lions are married. Are Roger and John married? Who is the girl lion? Who is the boy lion? The queen lion is roaring at the camera and the king lion is sticking his tongue out at the crab, which symbolizes Brian. Does this mean Roger is the queen lion since he used to be known for having fits of anger, and John is the king lion because he and Brian tend to butt heads? The Brian-crab is leaning toward the queen lion, so it makes sense that that lion is the Roger lion because Roger and Brian have always been close. But why is the John lion wrapped in chains? And why is he not touching the crown in the middle when the Roger lion and the Brian crab are? What do the chains symbolize? What is he trying to break free from? Is he trying to break free from his marriage to Roger? Are John and Roger married?

They literally had a whole bit in the movie about how critics disparaged the song “Bohemian Rhapsody” when it first came out and how fans loved it anyway. Critics know nothing.

Saw it today, worth a watch and empowers you with Queer energy.

Critics aren’t doing too well lately, are they?

THEY ARE FOOOOOLS

It’s also appreciated that for the Parsi Freddie Mercuri they cast actual poc Rami Malek.

A movie that doesn’t straightwash or whitewash the person its about and critics respond by trying to Talk Shit about it… I am not even a bit surprised

justqueenthoughts:

John: “Hello youtube, welcome to installment twelve of my vlog, John Fixes Shit His Roommates Break. Today we have an electric kettle which Roger filled with popcorn and then accidentally lit on fire–”

Roger: (offscreen) “It wasn’t me!”

John: “…Today we have an electric kettle which miraculously filled itself with popcorn, and then spontaneously combusted, and then threw itself out the window into the street six storeys below…”

Bohemian Rhapsody

This film was scrutinised by people from the trailer. People said that it didn’t show the bisexual Parsi performer everyone loves. As someone who just walked out of the theatre from seeing it, the film made it abundantly clear he wasn’t straight and wasn’t white.

People pointed to the fact Mary Austin was in the trailer and so it was only showing him as straight but he loved Mary. He loved her so much. Read anything about their relationship and you will see that he loved her with a deep, deep love. This doesn’t detract from his relationships with people like Jim Hutton, but we need to remember he was bi, not gay, bi.

There were also some people that questioned if the fact he was a person of colour comes up. Yes, yes it is made very clear that he is a person of colour in the film. There is even some of the racist slurs he was thrown.

No one should walk away from this film thinking he was straight or white.
